Hi there! I am trying to get back into the swing of things. After spending 2 weeks in Texas I thought we would have a harder time getting into the swing of things. Julianne did really well on the plane ride to Texas and on the way back to Michigan. I wore the Moby wrap for both trips and they were VERY successful.

Airport security did not make me take of my wrap at all! I prayed before I got to the airport and while I was in line and I was super glad that they did not make me take out my sleeping babe. After this trip I knew I was going to have to have the best washing machine in order to wash all the germs and stains I had gotten on the wrap.

I am still looking into buying a carrier though. Any thoughts? I am debating between a Beco and an Ergo. Any thoughts? I heard and read that it depended on my needs and on my height.

Can you tell our Julianne has grown up? She is 2 months old today and we are happy to see her change. She is so precious and we feel blessed daily!

When we returned from our holiday I had tons of mail to go through, like Christmas cards and packages. I love opening packages, don’t you?

LARAbar was generous enough to gift me with 4 bars of their newest flavor: Cappuccino.

I did say Cappuccino.

I really like LARAbars but now I REALLY like them because of this flavor. The bars are nutty and fruity but not like the other bars. It is almost like dessert. I had a bar yesterday and before I knew it, the bar was all gone!

If you like coffee like I do, you will like this bar. It is gluten-free, vegan, dairy- and soy-free too! The bar was also softer than the other bars too. Be on the look out for these bars. I cannot wait to stock-up for sure!   They will be my snack for this nursing mother! 😀

I give this a 5 out 5 stars!

Julianne IS precious! Every time you post I pic I think “she just can’t get any cuter,” and then she does. :)

I almost never eat Larabars (is it just me, or is there a crazy amount of calories stuffed into like 4 or 5 bites?!), but I might have to give this one a try.

  • Noelle

Not a problem! 1 bar is 200 calories. 1/2 a fruit serving! I will take this for sure!

  • Tiffany

Glad to hear that you and the baby are well. You both look lovely. Best wishes for a happy, healthy new year for you and your family! :)

I used to love snacking on Larabars, but stopped eating them when I realized I could make a similar type of bar at home. The cappuccino flavor intrigues me, though. Dessert in bar form? Yes please.

Julianne is just gorgeous! She keeps getting cuter and cuter. As for the carriers, we have an Ergo and we’re liking it a lot. It’s very comfortable, no strain on your back. About your Moby though – how do you get yours so nice and smooth? When I put mine on, it’s all bunched up!

  • Noelle

@Leinana-Thanks! Glad to hear about the Ergo. My back tends to bother me on some days. I think I am BF’ing incorrectly. :( I have practiced a lot with the Moby, of course you have a smaller body than I do so you will have more cloth to tie, but when you cross the material over shoulders make sure that it is not lose. Once you tie, it starts loosening on its own.

@Tiffany-Thanks! Happy New Year to you too! I wish I had time at home. The Cappuccino flavor is definitely more desserty! I totally sub it for that!

@Amber–awww thanks! She has eyelashes for days!

  • HiHoRosie

Ack! Julianne is killing me with her adorableness! Those big brown eyes are beautiful!

Rather than spending money on a carrier I practiced West African Baby Wearing with mine. Here’s a “how to” link.

I try to do all the baby stuff on the cheap, and in the most natural way possible. :-) But do what works for you.

Julianne is adorable. You must be having a great time with her.:-)

I didn’t even know they had a new flavor until I read this post, now I am adding it to my grocery list 😉 Glad Julianne is doing well.
