I’m a Nûby mom ambassador and receive items to review. All opinions are my own.
We officially have very active toddlers in the house and as you can imagine, there is never a dull moment. My oldest child loves seeing everything we do in the kitchen or loves being independently get into her chair so we were happy to be introduced to the Nûby Step Up Stool.
We do have a lot of space for learning towers for toddlers so we made do with the stool and noticed how the girls used in around the house.
My youngest, who is 14 months old, copies everything her sister does. She sits on the stool and even gets up on it as though she is reaching some goal, then forget how to get down. She knows it is useful for getting to things.
Julianne, the oldest toddler, is always trying to figure out what she can reach. She takes her stool to her chair and gets into her seat. It truly has been a useful stool.
Truthfully, I use it too to grab out-of-reach items in places around the kitchen. I did not think it was that durable but it is! Here are a few more facts about the Step Up Stool:
- Non-skid base
- No Slip top
- Small enough to store discreetly
- Holds up to 800 pounds!
Very simple yet a very useful and convenient accessory in our house for sure!
Where can you find this stool?

Disclosure. I received two sippy cups from First Years to try and test. All opinions are my own.
As a mother of two small children it might come to no surprise that there is a specific drawer or cabinet with kids cups and plates. The kids start growing and transitioning to a variety of cups and plates can be countless. The biggest challenge for me is having the best sippy cup that does not leak and keeps fluids cool and insulated whether at home or traveling.
We had a chance to try newest line of sippy cups called The First Years One Piece Lid Sippy Cups. The One Piece Lid design is easy to clean and assemble, with just a twist of the lid and – best of all – no extra parts to lose! Plus, the company boasts the cups to be spill-proof, leak-proof, break-proof, dishwasher safe and BPA-free. What is really neat is the fact that all The First Years sippy cups feature lids that are interchangeable across The First Years’ entire sippy cup line (including Disney Baby), making it so much easier to mix and match cups and lids.
Now unfortunately, if a child turns a cup upside down it will eventually leak so it is hard to say that something is virtually leak-proof. The girls really liked the owls design on the cups and even were super excited to try new cups.
I could hardly get them out of the packaging before they were climbing on my legs begging for the cups. The cups are labeled ideal for 18 month old toddlers and up but my toddler is 14 months old and she grasped the sippy cup with a straw very well. The spout is gentle on teething kids and the cups are easy to grip. My only complaint is that the cup is really not leak-proof. If I am traveling with the cup in a bag, the cup tends to leak ever so often from the opening of the lid that releases pressure. It might simply be pressure or the cup being turned upside down. Even so, we still use them and enjoy them.

Disclosure: I am a Boxtera Lifestyle Blogger and receive monthly subscriptions to try. All opinions are my own.
This month I received a new box of delicious snacks from Boxtera to share with my family. We are on the go A LOT with play dates, outings and family activities that sometimes it is hard to pack a decent lunch with a variety of foods and snacks. I usually like varying the snacks packed with protein or with flavor and substance. It is very easy to pack snacks loaded with just carbohydrates.
Now if you do not remember from my March post about this monthly subscription box, you must check it out! When you sign up for a monthly snack subscription, you get a box like the one above filled with five 4-ounce to 8-ounce snack bags with new snacks monthly for $19.95.
There are also even better deals for larger families because for ten large snack bags you only pay $29.95 a month but there are also customized boxes too.
When you open the box, it introduces you to the monthly snacks included in your box with a description. Boxtera focuses on 5 flavor combinations that are bitter, savory, sweet, sour, and salty which makes for a true variety.
All snacks that are included in each box have:
- No trans fats
- No artificial colors
- No artificial flavors
- No artificial sweeteners
Here is what I got for the month of April:
- Chili Lime Churrito Mix: These snacks were savory for sure and crunchy. My toddler loved trying the peas and pretzels but some were still too crunchy for her. I liked these snacks for the flavor. Not spicy at all.
- Chasin’ Cheddar Sticks: These were my favorite. Sesame sticks always convince me especially cheddar-flavored. My toddler really enjoyed these and they travel really well.
- Wholly Wheat Raspberry Bars: I usually have a hard time saying no to a real good fig newton bar but even worse for a raspberry bar. I wish the bag had had a few more of these bars because they were consumed way faster than needed. Even though it was listed as the sweet selection these were not overly sweet.
- Fa Va Voom! Beans: The beans were my least favorite snack, but it think that comes with the fact that I only like fava beans in falafel and not on their own. I gifted my bag to a friend. They had a strange flavor and were too crunchy.
- Ridiculously Good Fruit Chips: My mother had a chance to try these chips. We both agreed that the tropical fruit and banana did not taste too bad but the honeydew melon was funky in flavor. These were interesting in flavor since I had not had any fruit chips other than banana chips in the past.

Want a chance to try your own monthly subscription? Enter the giveaway below and let me know what you find exciting from this subscription box. Good luck!
