To encourage customers who haven’t yet tried GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets Own Brands products, the grocer is returning with its popular Buy Theirs, Get Ours Free Challenge. During the weeks of September 28 & October 5, customers who purchase selected national brand products, will receive GIANT/MARTIN’S Own Brands equivalent products for free. This is the fourth challenge GIANT/MARTIN’S has offered customers this year.
We have enjoyed trying a variety of products at home and have come to the conclusion that the Giant brand, called Own Brands, are just as comparable with the brand name products but at a more affordable price. No one can really argue, and you should not, that trying out the brands for your self during these two weeks will hurt you. In turn it will give you the opportunity to save money because as a customer are getting Giant’s brand for FREE to try. This is quite frankly better than a sample. So take advantage of it! Here is what you get to try for the rest of this week.

Here are the deals for the following week. We had a chance to try the crackers, hummus, and bath tissue, chocolate chips and a few other products that ended up being a great experience. The flavors and quality of the products were fantastic. I am happy to report that I am sold on Own Brands based on my experience. Since we have a strict budget, having options for cheaper staple products is very helpful. Now I can come prepared knowing what products I want in my pantry.

Not only do you have my opinion but all GIANT/MARTIN’S Own Brands products are subject to a testing program, which includes customer feedback, to ensure that the grocer is consistently delivering on quality and value. Based on this testing, hundreds of Own Brands products have been reformulated in the past couple of years to improve upon taste and quality, while still offering affordable prices. If a product doesn’t pass these testing requirements, it doesn’t go on a GIANT/MARTIN’S shelf!
